OpenTape has a web user interface. The server can be installed on a Windows 32-bit (2000/XP/2003) or any OS POSIX (Linux / BSD / UNIX-like).

• Developed in Java J2EE with SOA (Service Oriented Architecture - SOA) framework and a Model-View-Controller (MVC).
• Compatible with most databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
